It's the start of a new season here at High Pointes Dance Academy, and we want to ensure all our dance families are well-prepared with our schedule, especially during the holidays. Here’s a rundown of all the important dates when our studio will be taking a little break to celebrate and recharge.
Thanksgiving
October 12th-14th: Studio Closed
Use this time to enjoy some time with family and give thanks for the wonderful year we've had so far!
Extra Elite and Diamond Elite Rehearsal
October 25
There is a PA Day for all school boards and our Elite and Diamond Elite team will be in for extra rehearsal.
12:00 - 1:15 pm - Large Group Jazz (Production)
1:15 - 2:30 pm - Large Group Lyrical (Production)
2:30 - 3:45 pm - Intermediate Tap
Halloween
October 31st: Studio Closed
This week, leading up to Halloween, we encourage all our little dancers to come to class dressed in their favourite costumes!
Fall Break
November 4th–10th: Studio Closed
Our dancers can enjoy a well-deserved rest. It's the perfect time to relax and come back energized!

Christmas Holidays

***Extra Rehearsals will be scheduled for Diamond Elite Solos on Sundays to prepare them for the February 22nd Competition in Ottawa this schedule will be sent out to those dancers directly.
Times Dancers are needed on Friday's (this is subject to change if we need more rehearsal time)

Additional Note for Elite and Diamond Elite Dancers: Please be aware that our competitive team may have additional rehearsals scheduled during studio closures. These sessions will be communicated well in advance, so keep an eye on your emails for updates.
Keeping track of these dates ensures that no one misses out on any dance classes unexpectedly. We appreciate your understanding as we observe these holidays and breaks, giving our staff and students time to rejuvenate and celebrate with family and friends.
